Beer Game - Great Fun !

We had Operations Management class today from 06.00 to 09.30 PM. But it was great fun.

There were no slides,no theory and no notes to be taken.Instead, we played the Beer Game.!

The Beer Game is a role-playing simulation developed at MIT.The game is to clarify the advantages of taking an integrated approach to managing the supply chain; it particularly demonstrates the value of sharing information across the various supply chain components.

The purpose of the game is to meet customer demand for cases of beer, through a multi-stage supply chain with minimal expenditure on back orders and inventory. Communication is against the rules so feelings of confusion and disappointment are common
