She is considered to be the "God Mother of IT in Canada". She is an advisor to Bell Canada, has written articles in Harvard Business and was here to address the MBA students to talk about "Disruptive Innovation".

Wikipedia defines Disruptive Innovation as
"a new technological innovation, product, or service that eventually overturns the existing dominant technology or product in the market. Disruptive innovations can be broadly classified into lower-end and new-market disruptive innovations."

She quoted an example of Intel that made its own low-margin cheap chip - "Intel Celeron" that has become one of the most successful microprocessors of all time. She also talked about Infosys from India following a Disruptive Innovation technique. I enjoyed the talk.
